A very busy few months!

I last wrote on here some time ago. I had decided that I would not do so many fairs this summer so that I could enjoy the garden and have time to explore new ideas. That didn't quite go to plan but I'm not complaining!
I was at Perton Spring Fair on 9th March which went very well being the day before Mothers' Day.
I went to Newport Craft and Makers Market on 6th April - not so successful; many people on holiday for Easter so not quite the footfall expected.
I was the invited to a table top sale at Bitterley Primary School. That was a lovely day, eventhough a small event.
Next came an invitation to Diddlbury Church Fete last weekend. Despite the wet weather, it was a good afternoon of small sales, which soon became a profit.
I have also completed several commissions, which I absolutely loved doing. It's great to discuss the customer's ideas, set a budget and then go shopping for flowers. I spend a lot of time on commissions, not only to get it right but to include lots of detail.
I escaped a couple of scammers too. You really do need to have your wits about you these days.
I am busy booking Christmas fairs for November and December. It's going to be busy! I have 5 booked so far. I must start making earlier this year; it got surprisingly out of hand last year, selling out and making frantically for the next fair in five days time.
Some of you may have noticed that I am now making cards. I plan to have a whole range of cards covering different life events. I will add them as I make them so keep coming back to the website to find out more!
